Ernesto is a seasoned Professional Engineer with 28+ years of experience in all aspects of management and operations of an engineering consulting firm. As CEO, Ernesto is focused on driving strategic growth and acquisitions, managing operations, engaging staff, and ensuring quality project delivery. He has worked at some of the fastest growing firms in the US, and has experience managing national private, public and private equity portfolio companies in the AE industry. His experience includes sourcing, valuation and integration and merging of acquired companies. He is focused on building a profitable company with a culture that provides opportunities for staff and engineers great projects for our clients.
Kart has more than 30 years of experience in water, wastewater, and conveyance system projects. He has worked for global consulting firms in technical and marketing roles including strategy development, marketing, and sales. Kart has overseen more than $500 million in design-build projects and billions of dollars in construction for water and wastewater projects. His focus goes beyond just the numbers, as he emphasizes the importance of building relationships with our clients and communities based on trust, expertise, and innovation. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Chemical Engineering with a specialization in Environmental Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology in India, and a Master’s Degree in Chemical Engineering from Michigan Technological University.
Kurt has nearly 30 years of engineering and consulting experience with several firms ranging in size, services and geographies. He has managed a variety of environmental and civil engineering projects over his career for both public and private sector clients, with a focus on enterprise-level business operations leadership for the past 6 years. He is a licensed professional engineer with a BS in Civil Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. Prior to joining Ardurra, Kurt served as Senior Vice President of Operations for Ecology and Environment, Inc., responsible for all technical and business line operations in the US while also serving as the company’s Principal Operating Officer. Prior to that, he served as Director of Operations for the Water & Environment sector of WSP USA.
Cathy is an experienced financial management professional with a demonstrated history of leadership in the Engineering, Architecture and Design industries. She is skilled in cost accounting, financial planning and analysis, business operations and contracts administration. Her background includes senior positions with several large, high-growth corporations including Finance Director for the PBSJ Corporation (now The Atkins N.A. Holdings Corp.) and Vice President, Finance and Administration for AECOM Corp. Cathy has extensive experience developing administrative policy, designing and implementing financial reporting systems and modeling for budgets and forecasts in complex business environments. Her varied business background also includes new business start-ups, due diligence and operational integration related to mergers and acquisitions. Cathy has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting from Florida International University where she is also a graduate of the FIU Honors College.
Rick has over 30 years of experience in all facets of municipal and public works engineering as well as emergency management. He previously served as Ardurra’s Chief Strategy Officer responsible for sales and business development. Prior to that, Rick served as Ardurra’s Operations Director focused on developing and implementing business management procedures. As a former Senior Vice President for an ENR Top 20-ranked firm, he was responsible for a 16-state region with annual sales in excess of $120 million in professional services fees and $60 million in construction services. Rick distinguishes himself by optimizing operational and sales efficiency while maintaining a genuine commitment to our clients. He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Engineering and Master’s in Environmental Engineering both from the University of Florida.
Kevin is a leading human resources executive in the E/A/C industry with 20+ years of experience in all areas of human resources, including extensive expertise in M&A in both public and private global businesses. Before becoming the Human Resources Director at Ardurra, he served as Vice President of Human Resources at PBS&J/Atkins/SNC Lavalin. Kevin holds a Master’s Degree in Industrial Psychology from Florida International University, where he is also employed as an adjunct professor in the College of Business Administration’s top-ranked HR bachelors and masters programs. His specialties include: executive compensation in SEC-reporting companies; compensation planning and design; benefits modeling and administration; recruiting and talent acquisition (systems and process design); HR information systems implementation and administration; training and development.
