Ardurra is pleased to announce that Raj Chavan, Ph.D., PE, PMP, LEED, has joined the company as our National One Water Director.
In this role, Raj will spearhead our integrated water management initiatives, focusing on sustainable and holistic water solutions. His leadership will drive efforts in water resource planning, wastewater management, and stormwater strategies, ensuring efficient and environmentally responsible practices. Collaborating closely with teams across departments, Raj will engage with key stakeholders and contribute to Ardurra's strategic goals while keeping us at the forefront of industry regulations and technological advancements.
With more than 20 years of experience in civil and environmental engineering, Raj brings deep expertise to Ardurra. His extensive background includes sustainability, resilience, and climate change adaptation, as well as advanced hydraulic and process modeling. Raj also specializes in biological nutrient removal (BNR) and treatment intensification processes, further enhancing Ardurra’s capabilities in these critical areas.
Beyond his technical expertise, Raj is passionate about mentoring and helping engineers grow in their careers. As a dedicated teacher and supporter of emerging talent, he embodies Ardurra's values of continuous learning, innovation, and dedication to our people and clients.

Raj holds a Ph.D. and a master’s degree in civil and environmental engineering from the University of Nevada, along with a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Shivaji University. He is a licensed professional engineer in multiple states, a certified Project Management Professional (PMP), and LEED-accredited. Based in Las Vegas, NV, Raj will be part of our Las Vegas office.
