A milestone celebration was managed by the Ardurra communications team for a multi-agency media announcement for the new Cinematic Arts Academic Center & Library. The agencies involved included the City of Chula Vista, San Diego State University (SDSU), Southwestern Community College, State Assembly,State Senate elected officials and Chestnut Properties’ Millenia development. The partnership will educate a new generation of aspiring film students from Chula Vista, Southern California and the world.
Using a cinematic theme, complete with film clappers, our team planned and implemented a special event announcing the plan for a multi-institutional university and innovation district in the City of Chula Vista. Ardurra created an event plan consisting of materials and logistics needed, timeline, vendor information, spokespersons and media relations tactics. We drafted a media advisory, press release and run of show.Ardurra graphic designers created a branding and design style for the event which included eye-catching banners, poster boards, social media graphics, invitations and an event site map with directions for guests. Our team also managed media participation and vendors for audio visual, tent, Astroturf, chairs, tables, giveaways, photo props and food/beverages.
The event received positive news coverage from every local news outlet as well as regional and national/industry coverage with all dignitaries and partner agencies thrilled by the results and visuals with less than two weeks of planning.
