Boise, ID
As a team member for the Boise Airport Upgrade Airport Expansion Project, Ardurra’s Northwest Landscape Architecture team designed and created construction documents for the associated landscape for the airport’s two new parking garages, which will increase the close in parking stall count to approximately 1,850. Staying true to the airport’s commitment to a xeriscape landscape approach, our landscape architecture team used a colorful palette full of evergreen and deciduous plant material that will thrive in the area’s high desert climate. Designed to be water wise with drought tolerant plants that require little water, the landscape also aligns with the Airport’s Sustainability practice of water conservation. With construction underway and Phase I already installed, the project is expected to be complete by 2024.
