Ardurra completed the preparation of the Louisiana Comprehensive Coastal Master Plan to assist the state to develop a comprehensive long-term plan to address coastal protection from storm surge, flood control, and environmental restoration and conservation. Ardurra’s master plan provided critical information in reference to the State’s needs as well as recommendations to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for reports going to Congress. Ardurra’s scope of work included civil, hydraulic, and hydrologic engineering; potamology; biological and environmental science; project management; planning and geomorphology. Ardurra gathered and reviewed existing available data, developed the process and format for the plan, assisted with development of strategic statewide goals and objectives, and published the plan which outlined recommendations to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.
