North Carolina
Ardurra successfully secured nearly $5 million in grants and low-interest loans through NCDEQ's State Revolving Fund program for Aqua North Carolina, enabling Lead and Copper Rule Revision (LCRR) compliance across the state's largest public utility system serving over 300,000 residents in 51 counties. The strategic funding approach supported systematic inventory development across multiple phases, ensuring regulatory compliance while safeguarding public health.
The comprehensive program spans multiple counties through phased implementation, including Phase I covering 39 community public water systems in Warren, Surry, and Gaston Counties with approximately 2,190 residential service connections and 1,025 undetermined service lines. Phase II encompasses 59 systems in Iredell and Catawba Counties with over 4,500 residential connections and nearly 1,500 unknown service lines.
