Ardurra conducted a traffic study to determine the feasibility of using existing shoulders on US 288 for METRO Park & Ride buses to serve proposed Brazoria County Park & Ride in 2006. Ardurra is then hired in 2010 to conduct alternative analysis for the development of HOV facility on SH 288 corridor. Ardurra, working with METRO and other partners developed several alternatives and reduced to 3 viable options after extensive analysis.
Services include research, field visits, data gathering, fatal flaw screening, development of cross sections, budgetary construction costs, white paper and presentation materials.
Ardurra also performed traffic impact studies for the proposed Brazoria Park & Ride. Ardurra collected traffic data, coordinated with area agencies, identified planned improvements, analyzed existing and proposed conditions and developed recommendations to assist in FTA funding process.
