Hurricane Matthew caused surge heights of more than seven feet in several coastal areas of the county. Major impacts included storm damage to roads, bridges, drainage infrastructure, fire stations, and other permanent infrastructure. Impacts to existing beaches and associated debris generation were a substantial portion of the impacts to the County. Ardurra was selected to serve as program manager for federal grant management and administration as well as debris removal oversight. Ardurra’s scope of work included financial tracking, application development and tracking, data management and reporting, expert advisory services related to FEMA and other funding mechanisms, grant management and administration, engineering support, debris oversight, procurement of professional services and contractors, and development of contracts compliant with federal funds guidelines.
