Derek has over 33 years of experience delivering civil infrastructure projects including transportation, drainage, water and wastewater. Derek is focused on the growth and success of the Central Region which currently includes Texas, Louisiana and Oklahoma. He feels the biggest contributors to this growth and success are internal and external client service and satisfaction. Prior to being acquired Ardurra, Derek was the owner of a mid-sized engineering firm. He managed and led operations and sales as well as all aspects of managing and running a 110-person consulting engineering firm. 

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from Texas A&M University and is a registered engineer in Texas.
