Phase 2 Regional Integrated Loop System

Ardurra delivered engineering services for Phase 2 of the Peace River Manasota Regional Water Supply Authority's Regional Integrated Loop System, supporting potable water distribution to DeSoto, Sarasota, Charlotte, and Manatee Counties, as well as the City of North Port. The extensive regional transmission network features pipelines ranging from 12-inch to 48-inch diameter serving multiple county jurisdictions.

The complex project included preliminary engineering, design, permitting, and construction management for critical enhancements to transmission infrastructure. Services encompassed planning and hydraulic modeling of existing regional systems, evaluations of pump and meter stations, and complete construction oversight for substantial pipeline installations and system interconnections.

Key Project Components:

• Designed a 7-mile, 42-inch transmission main with 1,400 LF of 24-inch transmission infrastructure supporting regional water distribution

• Engineered three-meter stations and three interconnects with the existing 36-inch prestressed concrete cylinder pipe South Regional Transmission Main

• Conducted comprehensive hydraulic modeling of the existing regional water transmission system serving multiple county jurisdictions

• Evaluated pump and major meter stations, optimizing system performance and operational efficiency across the regional network

• Managed the complete project lifecycle from preliminary engineering through construction management and full-time observation services

• Coordinated multi-jurisdictional permitting supporting regional infrastructure development across county boundaries

• Integrated with existing infrastructure, ensuring seamless connection to the Authority's established transmission network
