Southwest Wyoming Regional Airport Terminal
After eight years of development, Southwest Wyoming Regional Airport opened its new $43 million commercial terminal. As prime consultant, Ardurra led design and construction management for this regional gateway project.
The existing terminal required expansion due to growth pressures. Ardurra's team designed 18,000 SF of new space plus 14,406 SF of terminal modernization. Key improvements included reconfiguring the aircraft apron, installing a passenger boarding bridge, enhancing roadways and drop-off areas, updating lighting and signage, and implementing comprehensive utility upgrades that encompassed fire suppression, utilities, and communications. The team's analysis maximized the project's AIP funding eligibility.
