Atlantis Sanya Resort

Ardurra delivered comprehensive life support systems (LSS) design for the Atlantis Sanya Resort, a flagship destination owned by Shanghai's Fosun Group and managed by Kerzner International. The resort opened in 2018, featuring world-class aquatic attractions including Aquaventure Water Park and the Lost Chambers Aquarium.

Ardurra designed critical LSS infrastructure for all aquatic animal exhibits, including the Lost Chambers, Dolphin Cave, Sea Lion Point, and the centerpiece Ambassador Lagoon—a 13.5-million liter open-air aquarium ranking among the world's largest. The exhibits support interactive experiences with dolphins and sea lions alongside extensive marine life displays.

The scope encompassed water treatment systems for the complete Aquaventure Water Park, including exhilarating water slides, wave pools, and interactive attractions, plus all hotel swimming pool facilities. Ardurra's design expertise ensured optimal water quality and safety standards across diverse aquatic environments.

Working in collaboration with MWH Taiwan through design development, Ardurra coordinated closely with Atlantis Palm operational staff to establish key design criteria including seawater supply systems and specialized process development requirements. The comprehensive design packages were successfully tendered following completion of the design development phase.

The project demonstrates Ardurra's specialized expertise in complex aquatic facility design, delivering integrated systems that support both marine life habitats and recreational water attractions at an internationally recognized resort destination.
