Electrical Distribution Assessment Dashboard

Ardurra provided Huntsville Utilities, which serves more than 400,000 customers across Huntsville and Madison County, Alabama, with an Electrical Distribution Assessment Dashboard to enhance visibility into the electric distribution system's performance and support data-driven asset management. The solution enabled near real-time and historical monitoring of system conditions to improve operational awareness and support proactive maintenance decisions.

The project integrated multiple enterprise data sources — including SCADA Historian, SQL Server, CASCADE systems, environmental data, and GIS asset information — into a unified analytics environment. This created a centralized, consistent view of electrical distribution assets across the network, enabling engineers and operators to assess system performance and equipment health more effectively.

Ardurra developed interactive Power BI dashboards to visualize operational trends, asset conditions, and key performance indicators across the distribution system. Automated ETL pipelines were implemented to ensure continuous data integration and timely dashboard updates. The solution also established a scalable data foundation to support advanced analytics, including forecasting, anomaly detection, and trend analysis.
