Ardurra delivered design and construction services for Johnston Regional Airport's new terminal facility, replacing an outdated 2,200 SF building with a modern 8,800 SF terminal serving the greater Raleigh metropolitan area. Working with the Airport Authority and architectural partners, Ardurra designed a sophisticated terminal featuring a large, soaring, daylight lobby that connects landside and airside operations. The modern facility features dedicated flight-professional support areas with a separate airside entrance, enabling quick turnover and after-hours operations while supporting corporate aircraft and charter services based at the airport.
