Ardurra delivered design, permitting, and construction services for a new 30 MGD re-pump system, providing enhanced water distribution capacity and operational reliability for Pinellas County. The pumping system features four new 250 HP pumps with variable-frequency drives housed in a 3,200-square-foot pump building and electrical room, supporting efficient operations and maintenance.
The project included substantial electrical and control system upgrades, including a 1,500-kW standby diesel generator, to ensure operational continuity during power outages. Advanced automation and monitoring capabilities through PLC and SCADA upgrades provide operators with enhanced system control and real-time performance monitoring throughout the distribution network.
