Ardurra delivered surveying services for a 1,000-acre (1.55-square-mile) land development site, utilizing advanced technologies and traditional surveying methods to establish precise horizontal and vertical control across diverse terrain conditions. The complex project encompassed active farmland, flooded lands, forest, and swamp areas requiring specialized surveying approaches and equipment configurations.
The challenging topographic survey involved locating approximately 10 miles of farm ditches, which were essential for determining fill volumes. Meanwhile, the boundary survey required analysis of atypical legal descriptions comprising 150 lines and 174 curves. Advanced aerial LiDAR and photogrammetry services produced accurate, georeferenced Digital Terrain Models and aerial photo mosaics, providing engineers with virtual field-condition models.
