Ardurra served as the lead engineer for the award-winning Memorial Park Central Connector, a land bridge connecting Houston's premier 1,500-acre Memorial Park across Memorial Drive. The innovative project addresses the park's bisection while enhancing connectivity for four million annual users from 170 ZIP codes across Greater Houston who utilize the signature exercise trail, 18-hole golf course, tennis, swimming, cycling, 30 miles of trails, and fitness facilities.

Working with renowned landscape architect Nelson Byrd Woltz and ARUP Texas, Ardurra delivered engineering leadership for this unique infrastructure project, advancing the unanimously approved Memorial Park Master Plan. The Central Connector provides essential connectivity while featuring natural Texas prairie landscaping, creating seamless integration between park amenities and environmental restoration.
