New Bear Lake Maintenance Facility Project Management Services

Ardurra is serving as prime consultant and owner's advisor for the Corpus Christi Regional Transportation Authority's (CCRTA) Bear Lane Maintenance Facility, a major Federal Transit Administration-funded capital investment in South Texas public transit infrastructure. The project will replace CCRTA's existing 50-year-old maintenance facility with a modern, approximately 65,000-square-foot facility featuring 21 maintenance bays and structural design requirements to withstand a Class 4 hurricane environment.

Ardurra's project management services span the full project lifecycle, including procurement and contract document review, issue and risk tracking, schedule and cost oversight, and coordination support to keep the design-bid-build delivery on track. The team also provides critical Federal Transit Administration compliance assistance, ensuring CCRTA meets grant requirements tied to the project's $46.28 million in FY 2025-26 Low or No Emission Grant Program funding.

Construction is expected to begin in September 2026 and continue for approximately two years.
