Spokane International Airport Terminal Renovation and Expansion

Ardurra was selected to design the $190 million terminal renovation and expansion project for Spokane International Airport, transforming the passenger experience through an innovative Central Hall development featuring centralized, consolidated baggage claim areas with a consolidated checkpoint above. The ambitious project enhances operational efficiency while improving passenger flow and security processing throughout the facility.

The Central Hall serves as the project centerpiece, with concourse connectors linking the new consolidated checkpoint to all three airport concourses, creating seamless passenger circulation. Improvements include gate hold expansion on Concourse C, roadway modifications, curbside canopy enhancements, a new airport police department operations space, and select interior renovations to support enhanced passenger services.

Key Design Services:

• Designing a $190 million terminal renovation featuring an innovative Central Hall with a centralized baggage claim and a consolidated checkpoint

• Creating concourse connector systems linking the consolidated checkpoint to all three airport concourses for enhanced passenger circulation

• Expanding gate hold capacity on Concourse C, supporting increased passenger volumes and operational efficiency
