Stoddard Pathway

City of Nampa, ID

Stoddard Pathway is a Rails-to-Trails project to extend the trail a mile into the heart of Nampa. Ardurra has been assisting the City of Nampa since 2017 with survey and a Master Plan for the trail, including conceptual pathway layout, landscaping, and new park layout. This was combined into a master plan that included conceptual layouts, colored renderings, and cost estimates that the Nampa Parks Department used to meet with stakeholders and the public at large. In 2018, these were used for grant applications and resulted in the award of a TAP grant from LHTAC to use in design and construction of the first two phases of the pathway.

Ardurra provided landscape plans from the conceptual phase through public bid and construction documents for the design of the additional ½ mile trail that included the use of low maintenance, drought tolerant grass and shade trees throughout the trail corridor and a public park at the trail head with space for sports fields, tot lot, picnic shelter, parking, and restroom facilities.
