Wekiva Parkway Section 8 Design-Build

Ardurra provided critical maintenance of traffic services for the Wekiva Parkway Section 8 project, partnering with the Lane Construction design-build team to deliver the final segment, completing Central Florida's protective beltway system. This 2.6-mile limited-access toll expressway extends from east of Orange Boulevard (Wekiva Section 7A) to east of Rinehart Road, establishing the crucial system-to-system connection between SR 417 and SR 429.

The project represents the culmination of the comprehensive Wekiva Parkway initiative, designed to complete the regional beltway while protecting vital natural resources throughout this environmentally sensitive corridor. Section 8 creates seamless connectivity through a new interchange at I-4 and a full-service interchange at International Parkway, dramatically improving regional mobility.
