Ardurra delivered structural and civil design services for the Hospira CQ laboratory and office building, successfully executing a fast-track, design-build project that required intensive coordination with the owner, contractor, and multiple design disciplines. The three-story, 66,000-square-foot facility features specialized laboratory spaces, office areas, and mechanical systems, while incorporating distinctive architectural elements, including a prominent exterior brick spine that extends 12 feet above the roof.

The design seamlessly integrates laboratory functionality with professional office environments through strategic space planning and advanced building systems. The striking architectural features include a brick spine that extends through the welcome center and grand staircase, as well as a two-story corrugated metal-panel façade accented by the company logo, creating a distinctive corporate presence.
