Ardurra prepared traffic signal timings for 96 intersections along the East End, Southeast, North, and Downtown light rail corridors in the City of Houston. Ardurra was responsible for developing traffic signal logic for the interaction of light rail vehicle with traffic and railroad gates, reviewed signal design plans prepared by others, Synchro/SimTraffic simulation modeling, prepared AM/PM/OFF peak optimal signal timing plans, programmed NextEdit database, programmed conflict monitor, tested timings for each intersection in the lab by simulating light rail operations, and preparing City field books. City field books include phasing diagram, NextEdit database, conflict monitor programming, input panel assignment sheets, output panel assignment sheets, and audible pedestrian programming sheets.

Ardurra was also responsible for reviewing the cabinets in the City shop after cabinet burn-in, attending field intersection traffic signal turn-on to test operations, and signal timing fine-tuning.
