Western North Ridge Drainage Improvement Project
Raleigh, NC
283-acre drainage system upgraded to 10-year level of service in Raleigh
Ardurra delivered storm drainage improvements for the Western North Ridge project, upgrading the drainage system serving 283 acres to enhance the residential neighborhood's long-term resilience. The infrastructure enhancement elevated system capacity to 10-year Level of Service standards through the installation of over 250 linear feet of 6'x4' reinforced concrete box culvert and 340 linear feet of 72-inch reinforced concrete pipe.
The team prioritized community engagement throughout project development, conducting multiple public meetings and one-on-one discussions with affected property owners. This extensive outreach approach ensured that community feedback shaped project design, while addressing neighborhood concerns and aligning improvements with residents' needs and priorities.
