Angie Mettlen brings over 32 years of expertise in engineering, strategic funding, regulatory compliance, and project management across the Southeast. A recognized expert in environmental quality and utility planning, she previously served in leadership roles at the South Carolina Department of Health and Environmental Control (SCDHEC), giving her deep insight into the regulatory challenges utilities face.

Angie has been instrumental in securing disaster recovery funding for communities impacted by hurricanes and has helped municipalities successfully navigate FEMA and state-specific grant programs. She has also led efforts to secure over $3 billion in funding for critical infrastructure projects, collaborating with state and federal agencies to develop strategic funding solutions through programs such as ARPA, SRF, EDA, CDBG, USDA and CWIFP. Her extensive experience ensures clients receive expert guidance in regulatory compliance, funding acquisition, and long-term utility planning.

Angie holds a B.S. in Bioscience and Bioengineering from Clemson University and a Pipeline Assessment Certification from NASSCO.
