J.R. leads Ardurra's national aviation practice from our Northwest region, bringing over 20 years of specialized experience in aviation planning and design. His expertise includes comprehensive airport infrastructure projects, from security enhancements to major runway reconstructions and master planning studies throughout the United States. As our national aviation practice lead, J.R. guides a team of dedicated aviation professionals while fostering strong relationships with airport clients nationwide. Under his leadership, the practice continues to expand its capabilities and innovative approaches to meet evolving industry demands.

Prior to joining Ardurra, J.R. served as North Regional Manager and Board of Directors member at T-O Engineers. He began his career in aviation engineering in 2002 after graduating from the University of Idaho with a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering. He is a licensed Professional Engineer in Florida, Idaho, Texas, and Washington.
