Scott Whalen, PE, leads the regional operations and strategic growth initiatives for Ardurra’s South Region, leveraging over 30 years of water resources engineering expertise. A recognized leader in urban and coastal stormwater management, stream restoration, and flood control, Scott has successfully directed major water resource projects across the Southeast.

Before joining Ardurra, Scott served in key leadership roles at WK Dickson, including chief operations officer and board member, where he founded their watershed services program. He began his career with the North Carolina Department of Transportation, advancing to engineering manager.

Scott holds a BS in civil engineering from Bluefield State College, an MS from NC State University, and an MBA from UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a licensed professional engineer in NC, VA, and GA.
