Ardurra Landscape Architects worked closely with the development’s interior designer to prepare construction documents for each townhome block. The resulting landscapes are filled with color and texture to provide interest for the automobile, but are approachable for the homeowner and compliment exterior architecture and interior color palette. Designed with the pedestrian in mind, Harris Ranch is planned community in Boise, Idaho where residential patio areas front wide sidewalks instead of being hidden in the rear of the home and encourage neighbor interaction and sense of community. These water wise landscapes were designed to help conserve water by using drought tolerant plants, micro irrigation, and rock mulch instead of turf grass.
