Ardurra provided complete civil preliminary through final design, survey, and CM services for this project to further the City’s Congestion Management Air Quality (CMAQ) initiatives. Roadway improvements for this federally funded project widened .05 mile of Chandler Boulevard at the SR101L Traffic Interchange to add a second left-turn lane and complete ADA improvements. Our team prepared a comprehensive, four-phase Maintenance of Traffic (MOT) construction sequence plan that maintained continuous, uninterrupted freeway and crossroad traffic and retail access to minimize revenue impacts to adjacent businesses. Ardurra worked hand-in-hand with City staff to develop and implement an extensive public outreach plan to ensure community awareness and consensus with corridor improvements throughout design and construction.
