Ardurra provided planning services with regard to the Uptown BRT Line North Extension Feasibility Study (Inner-Katy) to CBD in Houston, Texas. Ardurra studied the feasibility of adding an HOV lane along Inner Katy between IH-610 to CBD and also looking at better connections within the CBD to the Green/Purple Line. Some of the tasks performed were:

• Evaluate three alternatives to add HOV lane NWTC to CBD along Inner Katy by developing conceptual layouts and typical sections.
• Connect alternative concepts to Green/Purple Lines to the convention Center via Rusk and Capitol.
• Evaluate mobility impacts of the alternative for the Year 2020.
• Prepare budgetary cost estimates for the three alternatives.
• Substantial Coordination with TxDOT particularly along Inner-Katy corridor.
• Evaluate operational pros and cons of the three alternatives and provide summary sheets.
